Aurora Levins Morales is a Puerto Rican Ashkenazi Jewish writer, mentor, teacher and movement elder. She identifies as feminist, queer, radical, disabled and chronically ill and is committed to the work of climate justice and all its relations. She is the author of eight books, including Medicine Stories: Essays for Radicals, Remedios: Stories from the History of Puertorriqueñas, Kindling: Writings on the Body, and Silt, as well as dozens of anthologies. She lives on her family land in Maricao, Puerto Rico where she grows food, medicine and stories.
